Kalle Löström signed a recording contract with Edel Records Finland 2.2.2009. Also Kari Hakanen/EMI Music Finland and Pekka Ruuska/Kaiku Entertainment were interested in Kalle. However Edel Records´s Ilkka Vainio, who´ve been interested in Kalle since Idols semifinal got the long end of the stick. According to manager Peter Kokljuschkin, the main reason for choosing Edel Records were the fact that Kalle wants to sing in english. Löfström will immediately start studiowork with his new band. The debut album will be released during the spring and will be prodused by Risto Asikainen.
